MiScore App Notifications - Send Notifications to players

Step by Step Guide for Sending a Notification:

Send short messages with app notifications to MiScore App users booked into timesheets. Keep players informed about the golf day during, before or after play.

From the Admin Portal navigate to Notifications:

The options available to target specific players are available on the notification screen:

Date range for the timesheet:

Specific timesheet on that date:

Specific group on the timesheet:

The filter can be further refined to the following parameters

Select Booked for those players booked on the timesheet
Registered for only those players registered in a competition
Currently Scoring for those players currently scoring with the MiScore App

To select the players after applying the filters use the check box:

Notifications will only be sent to players which have the checkbox ticked/marked. It does not automatically select the players in the filter view each time a change is made to the filter

After selecting the players, enter the desired message for the notification and press Send Notification

On the first time sending a notification without having 2FA setup, the following screen will appear prompting to scan a QR code in an authenticator app on your phone

Enter the token from the mobile device on this screen, then confirm on the next to send the notification:

The club user account will need to enter the 2FA code each time a message is sent.

User Account Requirements for Club Staff:

Role(s): Root Administrator or Bookings + Notifications Administrator

To protect from compromised username and passwords a two-factor authorisation (2FA) will be need to be setup when sending out the first message and sending subsequent notifications.

Use authenticator app on mobile device to setup 2FA and enter code from authenticator app.
