Some frequently asked questions and answers regarding the GolfConnect transition in December 2024


Question: Can I continue to run the Hole by Hole data report on my courses for the purposes of establishing/reviewing course indexing?


Answer: Yes, you will still have access to the hole-by-hole report in the MiClub system after the transition. However, there will be changes in the indexing of 9-hole courses, which could affect the 'effective index' calculation. Once GolfConnect completes the course import, the current version of the course in MiClub will be automatically archived. As a result, reporting will need to be separated into pre- and post-GolfConnect transition periods.


Question: Will I still be able to use my MiClub Golf/1Golf system during the scheduled downtime?


Answer: Yes, you will still be able to make timesheet bookings and conduct all usual operations apart from the handicapping of competitions. It is suggested during this period that the club conducts non-handicappable events or teams formats.
