The Away Member function has been replaced with Set Secondary Member in the new Golf Australia CONNECT system. It is to be used when a Member has another golf club defined as their Home Club.
If you are unsure of the Members Golf ID follow the steps in Part 1. If the member has provided you with their Home Golf ID go directly to Part 2:
Part 1
Find a Members existing Golf ID
From the Main Menu select:
- Golf Australia
- Visitor Enquiry
From the options select:
- Search by Club and Name:
- Enter the name of the members Home Club
- Enter First and Last Name
- Search Visitors
- Enter First and Last Name
- Enter the name of the members Home Club
The Members Golf ID will be displayed
Part 2
Set Secondary Member
Navigate to the Members Profile by entering their Member Number, Preferred Name or Surname. Open the profile by selecting one of these fields or by selecting:
- Actions
- Edit Member Details
- Add Golf ID
- Set Secondary Member
- Enter the players Golf ID
- Next
- The system will prompt you to add an email to send to Golf Australia CONNECT. The club can send the member's email or use a club email for this prompt.
- Confirm
- The system will show ticks to indicate that all criteria have been met
- Next
- The following screen indicates that the Golf ID was successfully linked
