Competitions - Course Setup (Basic)

Courses are typically setup for an 18 hole course like below:

• GA Course - 1 to 18
  • Men's Tees
  • Ladies Tees
  • Senior Tees (Optional)
  • Junior Tees (Optional)
• GA Course Holes 1 to 9
  • Men's Tees
  • Ladies Tees
  • Senior Tees (Optional)
  • Junior Tees (Optional)
• GA Course Holes 10 to 18
  • Men Tees
  • Ladies Tees
  • Senior Tees (Optional)
  • Junior Tees (Optional)

When course renovations are in place, the course can be adjusted to correctly print order of play, par, distance and index on scorecards eg

• GA Temp Course 10th Out 19th In - For spare hole in
• GA Temp Course 10th Out 10A In - For shortened hole
• GA Temp Course 9/10 Out 10A/10B In for hole out and another hole split in two

If a course change alters a hole by more than 50 metres a new course slope and scratch is required. 

Please forward the changes by email to relevant state association.  Forward the return email from the Golf Association with the attached spreadsheet outlining the change to the course.

Scores from temporary courses can still be included in the eclectic as only holes in the GA Course will be updated ie Hole 10A will not update hole 10 in eclectic

Courses information required:

• Course Name
• Tee Colour and/or Name
• Club & Course ID
• Par, Gender, Scratch & Slope
• Hole Distance, Par & index for all holes on each tee colour
