Embedding a Video to a page or post

Quick Process

1. Upload Video to Youtube or Vimeo
2. Right click on video and choose "copy embed code"
3. Navigate to Page or Post that you wish to embed the video into
4. Change to "text view" and paste the embed code
5. Change back to visual mode to check.
6. Publish to Update Page / Post

Step-by-Step Process

Steps 1 & 2 Upload and get embed code

Youtube

Login to Youtube 

Click the Upload Button

Choose who you want video to be available to:

 - Unlisted will allow you to share the video without it being available to the public.

Select the File from your computer to upload

Right click on the video and copy embed code.

Vimeo

Login to Vimeo

Click the Upload Button

Select the Video to be uploaded and the privacy option required - "Anyone can see this video"

Once uploaded, navigate to the video and click the "share" Button

Copy the Embed Code from the pop up Window.

Steps 3-6 Adding to Wordpress

Navigate to the Wordpress Page or Post that you wish to add the video to.

Change to the "Text Tab"

Paste the copied embed code - it will look something like this:  <p><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/tow6kPYGdg8?list=PLDbKx54MDUWBw5qRY2giiDGGs344T_" width="854" height="480" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>

Toggle Back to the Visual Tab

Publish or update the page or post as normal.
