"One of the most effective ways of ensuring that golf is played at a good pace is to employ rangers that monitor pace of play (also known as course marshals) who are responsible for encouraging groups to play within the expected time and, importantly, helping them to enjoy their rounds as much as possible. The key to effective pace management is ensuring that any pace of play problems are spotted quickly and acted upon promptly." 7. Instruct use of Course Ordering for Timesheets when using temporary holes in Timesheet > Groups

Review in System Courses > Tee Markers > Hole Time

Define start holes if normal commencing holes holes are not in-play or for shotgun starts when a temp (19th Hole) is played ie 19th replaces 4th after 5th

Importantly player tracking is live + 6 minutes to ensure premium use of battery life for devices. Player data is submitted every six minutes or when a score is completed for each hole.

Location Data Information

MiScore App will submit all location data every six minutes or when score is entered.

GPS co-ordinates for each group are shown on the Player Tracking screen as an average of all player location. The timeline and map is used as a tool to identify slow play groups ie breaks in the field, bunched groups, bottlenecks etc

Only the GPS data is stored and referenced that are within the zones of the golf course and while player is scoring. Any data received whilst not on course or using any other function like leaderboard lookup etc is excluded and deleted permanently.

All historical GPS data is stored for later reference and review, ie no archiving of location data

The key focus of the Timeline and Player tracking is group location which averages the location of each individual in a group for display.

Each group on the timesheet is allocated a group #

Group # are allocated by group and then row

Note: Competitions cancelled during a round ie typically inclement weather are automatically excluded if competition status remains OPEN

Cart Tracking

Pace of Play will track cart usage of bookings on timesheet with a golf cart. Cart exclusion zones are setup to detect cart use in excluded areas.

Best tracking analytics is when player devices are seated in a phone holder of the cart and remains in screensaver mode between use.
