Timesheets - Booking Limits

New in 2025

A new Booking Limits interface coming from February 2025

Set booking limits for selected categories with restrictions on:

• Weekly, Weekday, Weekend, Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual limits
• Set complex weekly limits for Weekday and Weekend bookings ie 2 per week and max 1 on weekend
• Limit the max games per period with an annual limit ie 20 games per year with max 2 games per month
• Ignore limits for late bookings ie games booked within 12 hours of tee times
• Restrict games by resource and/or event ie Unlimited South course, 1 per week North course
• For weekly booking limits set the start and end days so a member can book a game this week and next week at same time for a 1 game per week limit

Great for:

• Limited playing categories ie Non Playing 6 games per year
• Trial memberships ie 3 months trial no more than 10 games and 2 per week
• Busy course periods ie 1 game per week
• Transitional Membership ie Unlimited North Course, 1 game per month South Course
• Visitor limits wehn booked by member with a Golf Aust ID ie 6 games per year

Quick Process (2025)

• Contact MiClub Support to Enable Booking Limits and the Resources to apply
• Go to Fixtures List > Booking Limits
• Select Resource and Resource 
• Select Booking Resource and/or Course
• Select Add New Booking Limit
  • Select Member Type
    • Member, Visitor, Admin or Public
  • Select categories or multiple categories
  • Limit Type
    • Weekday, Weekly, Weekend, Fortnight, Month, Quarterly, Annual
  • Limit
  • Gender
  • Save
• Add complexity by Adding or Editing a Booking Limit
• Allow late bookings to not be counted by setting the within limit time in Configure Event > Details and Openings ie 1 day 12:00 will ignore limits for the 12 hours leading up to the day of the event. Ideal to fill vacant spots.

It's recommended to setup or select a trial member category and test on club staff accounts

Booking Limits process pre 2025

Set booking limits for selected categories with restrictions on number of games that can be played in the club calendar year.

Useful for Non Playing, Absentee, Country and International type member categories with their restriction on course rounds.

Member will not be permitted to be booked by themself or another if at the booking limit. Admin can override the warning message.

Can also display the number of rounds played in the My Information of a club site, not available for One Golf sites.  Please request MiCLub Help to enable this.

Quick Process

1. Be in the Fixtures List
2. Select Fees > Booking Limits
3. Find and Edit required category
   • Add the Booking Limit
   • Update the Start Day and Start Month
   • Tick Enabled
4. Select Green Tick to confirm
5. Member view of round numbers played in My Information
